Non è che sono tutte delle ciofeche atomiche, hanno semplicemente deluso le mie aspettative, che naturalmente possono essere diverse da quelle del resto del mondo.
Ah, questo tipo di post l'ha fatto anche Drama, andate e passate tutta la sera sul suo blog, mi raccomando.
I mean, all those products that are incredibly overrated in my opinion.
They're not a total bummer, they just disappointed my expectations, which can easily be different from the rest of the world.

Make Up For Ever False Eyelashes n.120:
Le più rigide e insopportabili che abbia mai provato. Perdere tre ore per riuscire a metterle in modo decente e dopo neanche un'ora ritrovarsi con gli angolini staccati non è esattamente quello che cerco in un paio di ciglia finte. E io della colla Duo mi fido ciecamente, non è sicuramente lei il problema.
The hardest and less comfortable i have ever tried. It took three hours to apply them decently but then they were already falling off after just one hour. And i 100% trust the Duo glue, that's not the problem at all.
OPI "Midnight in Moscow" Nail Polish:
Il colore nella boccetta è meraviglioso, un marrone scurissimo con riflessi rossi, ma una volta applicato per vedere questi benedetti riflessi dovete mettervi la mano a un centimetro dal naso e spararci sopra la luce di un faro da avvistamento. Servono tre passate per avere un colore pieno e dura quanto uno smalto da 2 euro. Grande delusione.
The bottle shows a marvelous colour, such a dark brown with shades of red but, once applied, you should stick your nose one inch to your hand to see these shades. You need three coats to get the full colour and it lasts like a 2 euro polish. Great disappointment.
Rouge Coco Lipstick "Lune Rousse" Chanel:
Non è che faccia proprio schifo, ma da un rossetto che costa quel che costa pretendo molto di più. Gli piace andare in giro per la faccia nonostante la matita, c'è da aver paura persino a respirare. Il colore però è molto bello, magari ve lo farò vedere quando avrò il coraggio di uscirci.
This one is not so bad, but i expect so much more from such an expensive lipstick. It wanders across your face despite the use of a pencil, i'm afraid to even breathe. The colour is nice though, maybe one day i'll be brave enough to go out wearing it and i'll show it to you.
YSL Touche Eclat:
Fino a poco tempo fa l'ho amato e venerato, ma ora mi chiedo perchè. E' un normalissimo "correttore" illuminante che costa quanto un weekend sul Mar Rosso. Non ho nessun problema ad ammettere di essere una debole che si fa facilmente abbindolare da un marketing fatto bene.
I loved and worshipped it until a few months ago, but now i'm wondering why. It's a plain brightening concealer which costs like a weekend on the Red Sea. I'm totally okay with admitting the fact that i'm affected by some well done marketing.
Benefit Erase Paste:
C'è bisogno che lo insulti a morte per l'ennesima volta? Neanche il tempo di uscire di casa che si è già infilato anche nella più piccola pieghetta.
Do i really need to curse it to death one more time? It sticks in the creases like no one else.
Essence Stay All Day Eyeshadow "Glammy Goes To":
Qua probabilmente partirà qualche Parbleu!, ma giuro che non riesco a farmelo piacere. Non ho una palpebra oleosa, ma se non metto una base è un disastro, cosa che non mi succede con tutti gli altri ombretti in crema che ho. In più non apprezzo particolarmente la consistenza.
Some of you will be really surprised in reading this, but i'm not totally convinced. I don't have oily lids, but it's a total wreck without a base, and it doesn't happen with any other creamy eyeshadow i tried. Moreover, i don't really like the texture.

Make Up For Ever Brushes 32S - 24S:
Ho scelto questi due, ma il discorso vale per i 3/4 dei pennelli MUFE che ho. Il 32S, quello da cipria, è totalmente inutilizzabile. E' una delle cose più pungenti che abbiano mai toccato il mio viso e non applica il prodotto in modo omogeneo. Il 24S invece sarebbe anche un buon pennello da blush, ma è davvero una tortura. Poco tempo fa mi è capitato di sentire una ragazza dire che sono morbidissimi,
cara ragazza, hai la faccia ricoperta di cemento armato?
E come se tutto ciò non bastasse perdono costantemente una quantità di peli disumana.
I have chosen these ones, but it's the same thing with 75% of my MUFE brushes. I can't use the 32S (the powder brush) at all. It stings like nothing else ever did to my face and it doesn't apply the product homogeneously. The 24S could be a decent blush brush, but it's a real torture. I once heard a girl saying that they are so soft, but sweetheart, is your face covered with concrete?
Moreover they loose bristles like there's no tomorrow.
