Lo sappiamo, l'estate è un periodo difficile. Se non fosse che sono stata dotata fin dalla nascita di quella cosa chiamata "senso del pudore" e, anche se non sembra, di un certo buongusto, andrei allegramente in giro senza niente sulla faccia. Dato che preferisco essere guardata negli occhi mentre parlo e non sul mento, dove ho quel bellissimo brufolo che ancora un po' e gli devo chiedere di pagare l'affitto, come ogni anno ho dovuto trovare il modo per coprire il più possibile tutte le mie imperfezioni senza rischiare di cadere a pezzi dopo dieci minuti. Non sarà la scoperta dell'acqua calda, ma almeno riesco ad affrontare il mondo più serenamente.
We all know it, summer is hard. When i was born i was given that quality named "decency" and some kind of good taste, therefore i'm not going out without any make-up. As i prefer people to look me in the eyes and not on my chin, where you can find such a nice pimple which is going to pay me a rent someday, this year as well i had to figure out how to cover my imperfections as much as possible without risking to melt after ten minutes. I'm not surely reinventing the wheel, but i can face the world with a smile on my face.
MAC Face and Body Foundation: Sto provando questo fondotinta da diversi mesi, ho aspettato tanto a parlarvene perchè c'era sempre qualcosa che non mi convinceva, poi mi sono resa conto che per me è l'opzione migliore in questa stagione. La coprenza è bassa, è inutile dire che è modulabile, se hai giusto qualche macchia o dei rossori allora sì, può essere sufficiente, ma se il problema è un po' più serio non c'è proprio verso. Tuttavia uniforma molto bene e lascia la pelle luminosa, sembra di non averlo addosso e la durata è nella media. Se avete una pelle particolarmente oleosa magari neccessiterà di qualche ritrocco con la cipria nella zona T durante la giornata. La cosa che continua a lasciarmi perplessa è la consistenza, occhei che è a base d'acqua, ma sembra tipo un gel e non lo so, ha qualcosa che mi urta!

but then i realized that this is my best option for the season.
The coverage is almost nothing, period,
if you have just some redness then yeah, it's enough,
but if you have more serious problems, no way!
Anyway, the skin looks natural and glowing,
you don't even feel you're wearing it and it lasts enough.
If you have an oily skin you might need some powder
retouch on the T zone after a few hours.
I'm still kinda unsure about its texture, i know it's water-based,
but it looks like a gel and gets my nerves.
Essence Stay All Day Concealer: Non ho grandi problemi d'occhiaie (almeno quello, cribbio!) e questo correttore della Essence è stata una grande scoperta. Più che coprire illumina e a me basta e avanza, non va nelle pieghette e in più costa pochissimo.

and this Essence concealer was a big deal.
It's more like a highlighter than a concealer
but it's okay for me, it doesn't crease and it's soooo cheap.
Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer: Dovrei smetterla di comprare altri correttori per le imperfezioni, tanto torno sempre da lui, compagno fedelissimo da due anni. Ne basta una quantità infinitesimale, copre tutto e dove si fissa lì sta per quasi tutto il giorno (i miracoli lasciamoli agli Orsetti del Cuore). Mai e poi mai lo abbandonerò.

bareMinerals Mineral Veil Powder: Davvero un'ottima cipria, opacizza e fissa il trucco senza appiattire o appesantire il viso e risulta luminosa pur non avendo l'ombra di un glitter. La trovo molto simile alla mia adoratissima cipria Lavera.

The Body Shop Honey Bronze/Madina Solar Power: Le cito entrambe perchè, nonostante continui a preferire la terra di The Body Shop, quella Madina scoperta di recente mi sembra molto simile come colorazione, forse leggermente più calda, ma comunque perfetta durante il periodo estivo su una pelle chiara.

Kiko All Over Light 03: Partiamo dal presupposto che se vedo un solo glitter in un illuminante scappo via piangendo (sono strana, lo so, ma dato che non mi chiamo Katy Perry non voglio glitter sulla mia faccia). Questo rispecchia perfettamente il mio concetto di illuminante, è satinato e luminosissimo, volendo anche discreto se ne si applica poco e soprattutto non scompare nel nulla dopo qualche ora. Per quanto mi riguarda è il miglior prodotto che Kiko abbia mai sfornato.

if i notice just one glitter
(i'm not Katy Perry then i don't want glitter on my face, i know it, i'm weird).
This one perfectly reflects my kind of highlighter,
it's not glittery but it's so bright,
it's not showy if you apply just a little bit and,
moreover, it doesn't fade to nothing after a few hours.
In my opinion, this is the best product Kiko ever made.
